Day 3: Mike went out early this morning, and took pics of the sunrise. Marian only lives a few short blocks from the beach on the east side of the island, so that was the place to be!

We then headed out to Cinnamon's for breakfast. Mike had Guava Pankcakes a la mode (ice cream & whipped cream) plus a cinnamon roll, Marian had loco moco, and I had Mahi Mahi Eggs Benedict!

Then back to the house for a bit before heading to our hike. We hiked the Maonawili Falls Trail. IT was great! Lots of ups/downs and sliding around on the muddy trail (thanks for the Keen recommendation, Michele - they were well worth it!). It was a tough trail, and it was nice to ford the stream and wash off some mud each time.

We're now back at Marian's cleaning up and packing. We'll head to the "Shrimp Shack" for an early supper, and the off to the airport to fly to Kauai, where we'll be for a week.
